Atlas Mercury lenses are an incredible option for anamorphic acquisition. These lenses are small in size with a beautiful, sharp yet delicate image quality. The flare is amber color and even presents a rainbow flare in certain lighting situations. They have an impressive 1.5x desqueeze that is incredibly cinematic and looks similar to 2x anamorphic quality. They are optimal for 2:39 and also for 16:9 delivery due to their 1.5x squeeze. The lightweight build at 2-3 lbs. makes these lenses great for gimbals and handheld.
